AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): Decades-long Tripura Bangladesh communication services are hampered due to rising tension in Bangladesh.
For Saturday, the Shyamali bus would start on its way to Kolkata via Bangladesh as per schedule. But the volume of passengers was very low.
Talking to the bus service providers, they informed only 17 passengers have booked the bus services to Kolkata via Bangladesh.
Recently a viral video spread on social media claimed that the passengers’ bus was attacked by Bangladesh locals. The video showed a heavy argument among the public comprised of Bangladesh and Tripura passengers.
Since Sheikh Hasina’s fall, due to rising attacks on minorities, the tension has escalated between two countries affected bordering states of India mostly including Tripura.
