AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN): Tipra Motha women wing demanded Tripura Govt should immediately extract its proposed project on the old governor house which is also known as Pushbanta palace, allowing it to become a hotel.
They demanded that in no way the palace should be converted into a hotel.
Tipra Women’s Federation (TWF) on Wednesday organized the protest rally from Astabal stadium and sat in a demonstration at Circuit House.
The protest was staged after Tripura govt proposed to handover the palace to the Taj hotel with the condition of not changing the architect or demolishing it.
