AGARTALA, Dec 3 (TIWN): After protests turned violent in Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner’s office, the administration today cancelled a protest against Bangladesh.

A rally was organized by Sanatani Yuva under the ‘Bangladesh Cholo’ slogan but police did not allow them to proceed as the rally was not immune to legal permission.

As the rally did not receive permission, the agitators completed their protest standing in front of Rabindra Bhawan.

The rally was addressed by ex-MP Pratima Bhowmik.
