DAHARMANAGAR, Dec 2 (TIWN): A fire accident at Kaushik Das’s house in Nayapara of Dharmanagar subdivision escalated tension.

The trigger caught the renters’ rooms on Das’s property and various furniture was damaged.

However, due to quick action taken by the local fire department there, the house could be saved from further damage.

The cause of the fire could not be identified whereas it is suspected this happened due to a short circuit.

Two families were living in those rooms and their children were studying at Dharmanagar College.
