AGARTALA, Nov 28 (TIWN): BJP’s tainted Minister Bikash Debbarma who was exposed recently by opposition Congress MLA Sudip Barman for using Tribal welfare Department funds to wall a boundary in one of the properties, now has claimed a “massive development” is undergoing in Tripura which is troubling the CPI-M and Congress both. “For last 35 years no development happened in the state and now under popular chief minister Dr. Manik Saha when the state is heading towards progress, the opposition can’t bear that,” said Debbarma.
“CPI-M looted the tribals, sucked their blood, kept them uneducated but now you see from education to health, in fact in every section, development is rapidly happening,” Debbarma told media.
Bikash Debbarma also added, that on 10th December, a rally will be organized in Krishnapur, appealing people to join.
“Unable to digest seeing the revolution of development, the CPI-M and the Congress are trying to destabilize the state. Sudip Barman, Jitendra Chowdhury are fuelling the disturbance and engaged in fake propaganda against our government,” added Bikash Debbarma.
