UDAIPUR, Nov 28 (TIWN): AICC General Secretary Christopher Tilak who has been visiting Tripura, addressed the media in Udaipur subdivision on Thursday. Talking to media, Tilak questioned on the law and order issue and alleged that violence is now a part and parcel of the state political culture. “We want to include non-violence ideology of Mahatma Gandhi,” he added.
Refusing government’s claims on development, Tilak said, “There is no sign of development. They talk big about road constructions and new projects but I saw everything in my eyes and nothing has been done in last 7 years.”
“Let’s talk about the ZADC. It has nothing except some BJP party offices where celebrations are going on centering their leaders’ visits. The government is paying to the surrendered militants but the tribals in ADC, it has no plan,” Tilak told media.
