SONAMURA, Nov 27 (TIWN): Miserable road conditions have left the regular goers in troubling situations the Sonamura-Boxanagar route. Talking to the locals they requested the state government to repair the road at the earliest possible. “Just look at the condition of the road. How can people commute through the road ? I think, agricultural crops can be cultivated here. This road belongs to the local MLA here who has no concern,” said a local man who sounded frustrated of the ongoing road conditions.
“Accidents are increasing and pregnant women have high risks to travel in this route. We want government to fix the road immediately,” said a biker who was going with his wife and child on a bike.
“People are dying. Accidents are happening everyday. Vehicles are being damaged. Either you fix the roads or stop vehicle movements,” a woman said.
Deplorable road conditions hit daily passengers, and locals on Boxanagar-Sonamura road.
