‘Fulfil our Demands or Face Protests’ : Surrendered Militants

AGARTALA, Nov 26 (TIWN): Surrendered militant body on Tuesday requested Tripura government to fulfill their nine demands immediately and if the government fails to do it within three months, then massive protests will be organized. A press meet was organized in this regard at Agartala Press Club. They expressed resentment over the government’s delay in fulfilling their demands.
The surrendered militants body Deprived Returnee Movement committee led by Amrit Reang placed nine points of demands.
Reang said, earlier with these demands they reached out to the then-minister Rampada Jamatia. Even after assuring them of their demands, those were not fulfilled which has forced them to speak up.
