Talking to the media, senior journalist Sanit Debroy mentioned the injured journalist had undergone a major operation less than a month back.

Debroy also alleged, there is no night patrolling the city. At least, he hardly sees any patrolling during night hours putting the late-night workers’ security in question.

A police official at the Amtali PS said that an investigation has started in this regard and the complaint has been received.
