The road has not been repaired despite several written and oral reports from residents including vehicle drivers.

As a result, the villagers along with the vehicle drivers were forced to protest by blocking the road in Kubzhar area from 10:30 am on November 20th.

Hundreds of daily commuters along with school students remained stuck due to the road blockade.

Hundreds of vehicles were also stuck on both sides of the blockade. A large contingent of Kailasahar Police and TSR forces are deployed at the blockade site.
