AGARTALA, Nov 7 (TIWN): The CPI-M party observed November revolution which the party called a movement for socialism, remembering Lenin and other communist revolutionary leaders.
Various programs were organized by the communist party influencing the Indian state Tripura.
The main discussion program was held in Agartala Town Hall where senior CPI-M leaders addressed.
Talking to the audience, Opposition Leader Jitendra Chowdhury said, that the fall of the Soviet Union followed by internal issues, conflicts and some other weaknesses could not end socialism in the world.
“Today also China, Russia, Cuba, and Vietnam are dominating with full efforts to establish socialism. However, let’s skip North Korea……….” Said Jiten Chowdhury.
Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar slammed the United States on the capitalist policy saying, that only socialism can save the world.
