UDAIPUR, Nov 2 (TIWN): Assam Rifles conducted an awareness drive as part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at Udaipur today. The event aimed to educate the local people, particularly youth, about the ill effects of drug abuse and the importance of living a drug-free life.

Assam Rifles, in a statement said, the awareness drive featured an interactive lecture session, where the detrimental effects of drug addiction, its social & financial implications and the support systems available for rehabilitation were discussed. A total of 157 people participated in the event.

The event concluded with an interactive session, where participants shared their experiences and pledged to support the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The efforts were well appreciated by the local populace and administration. The event was part of Assam Rifles endeavours to curb the malice of drug addiction from society and is symbolic of the organization’s vision of Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign.
