AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): A newborn baby died in Charilam Primary Health Care allegedly due to insufficient medical care.
Resident of Bishramganj, Bashtali village, Buddha Debbarma’s wife Basana Debbarma delivered a baby boy on Wednesday 3.30 AM but they were not informed about the health condition of the baby.
Suddenly, the baby was referred to IGM hospital saying, it’s having respiratory problems. As soon as he was taken to IGM hospital, he was declared as dead.
Such incidents once again raise question over the health services in primary hospitals.
