AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): A physically challenged 19 years old girl was raped in Bishalgarh. After the complaint was lodged, police arrested the accused Bikram Biswas. The rape victim’s health is in critical state and was hospitalized. Bishalgarh Women PS OC-Shiuli Das told media that as soon as the complaint was lodged, police arrested the accused person and after interrogation, he would be sent to the court.
Talking to the on-duty doctor in Bishalgarh hospital, she said, it’s evident that she was a victim of sexual assault.
“Due to access bleeding, she was referred to IGM hospital. A gynecologist doctor is needed for her better treatment,” said the Doctor.
