AGARTALA, Oct 3 (TIWN): Ahead of Durga puja, Bamutia police seized a huge quantity of liquors from a shop in Bamutia.
The raid was led by Bamutia police ahead of the upcoming Durga puja.
Based on secret information, police visited Kali Bazar market and conducted the raid, and successfully recovered the liquor bottles.
Bamutia PS OC-Anthony Jamatia, ASI Dipak Das were present during the riad.
“Such raids will continue and keen eyes will be kept to stop such illegal things in the town during Durga puja season,” said ASI Dipak Das.
