BISHALGARH, Sep 12 (TIWN): Heavy numbers of trees have been cut down in Bishalgarh-Golaghati road by the Power Dept, erupting heavy resentment among the locals.

A local said, “I am a farmer and when I walk through the roads, it helps me if the road shaded but now, due to the tree cutting, it’s a heavy torture on us.”

“We want an immediate stop of such acts. These trees should be saved and not cut in this way,” he said.

The Power department employee who was present there, avoided media questions.
