The incident happened at Master Para, Santir Bazar.

The deceased Amal Debnath (40), was employed in TSR Bn 7. His original house is in Sonai, Sabroom. Recently, they built their home in Santir Bazar’s Master Para.

According to family, he went to the roof with a neighbour, from where his body was found then.

Family suspected that the youth Saurabh Debnath can be involved behind his death. Body has been sent for post mortem.

At the primary observation, it has been assumed that he died after being electrocuted.
