Agartala, February 3 (TIWN): Although the project is, factually, over but the concerned parties are yet to receive payments. The computer faculties engaged on a project basis (Information and Communication Technology or ICT Project-Government of Tripura). The companies who had implemented the project, they are reported to have got the bill of crore of rupees but the helpless school faculties have not been getting salaries for last seven months.

Access Infotech Private Limited, NIIT Limited, Educom Solution Limited and Everonn Education Limited are the implementing agencies who have not only deprived the teachers of the salaries but also of the Provident Fund (PF). The conhtract of the project has come to an end on last January 31, 2015. And letters have already been issued to the concerned employees informing them about their termination.

In this regard it should be noted that the teachers of sarba Sisha Aviyan (SSA) have solved their issues and problem, after knocking the door of union minister of Human Resource Development. Now would the ICT teachers would walk on the same way?
