Agartala, February 2 (TIWN): Bee sting injured over 8 students and two teachers of Ghaniyamara HS School under Bishalghar police station during the school period here this morning.

According to the police, suddenly a vast number of bees came out from a jungle adjacent to Ghaniyamara HS School and attacked 8 students along with two teachers of primary section. After the incident, they started feeling strong pain.

They were immediately taken to Bishalghar sub-divisional hospital. Among them, a student was reportedly shifted to GBP Hospital in serious condition with strong pain, said police.

After receiving the information, police of Bishalghar police station visited the Ghaniyamara HS School and interacted with the other students and teachers. The 7 injured students are undergoing treatment at Bishalghar sub-divisional hospital, said police.
