AGARTALA, May 20 (TIWN): Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman came up with his first reaction to Ratan Lal Nath’s misbehavior with media persons that left him boycotted by state newspapers and other media persons during BJP rally. Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath was irked by the presence of media persons on Friday during a photo session, saying, “We can’t do as media persons say”, but his language and expression were vulgar which sparked reactions from media, opposition, and also social media users. Reacting to the incident, Congress MLA Sudip Barman asked the media to forgive Ratan Lal Nath considering him a “psycho”.
“He is a psycho! He won’t apologize for his action but I would request the journalists to forgive him because he is a psycho,” said Barman.
Ratan Lal Nath’s venture against media persons came amid Tripura Govt’s Vidya Jyoti scheme’s major failure that was launched by Ratan Lal Nath when he was holding the education department as the Minister. The scheme imposed hefty fees on students but resulted in mass-fail.
