DUKLI, May 18 (TIWN): In a shocking discovery, an Anganwadi school meal was found full of insects, and cockroaches, sparked concerns over children’s health. The incident happened at Sardar Para Angawawadi school in Dukli. Furthermore, the school's water filters have been left non-functional, putting the students at risk of waterborne diseases. The school's infrastructure is also in a state of disrepair, with the playground and kitchen areas in disarray. "We have been facing numerous challenges, including the lack of a proper road to the school, which has been blocked by a boundary erected by a neighboring property owner," a school teacher said.
“Our school is also in miserable shape. From school field to kitchen, nothing is in organized shape. So many times, we have complained it to the Panchayat but nothing was helpful to reduce the problems,” said the school teacher Namita Debbarma.
