AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Referring to the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by Enforcement Directorate in connection with the Delhi liquor policy money laundering case, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday said, the opposition alliance named I.N.D.I.A. will end up with the "I" letter and that’s how he sees the alliance. “Right now, it’s just I.N.D.I., and one after another letter from this alliance will disappear. One has to remember what was the condition of the nation India before 2014. Lots of scams and alliance governments. It was a worry whether this country will survive or not, said CM Dr Manik Saha while addressing at Barjala. Talking about the law and order conditions, CM hailed the Tripura Govt and police for maintaining law and order situation in a better way than 2022.
“In last year, Tripura’s law and order condition was at 5th rank and in 2023 it’s in 3rd rank. Some scattered incidents happen but that’s why police department exists to work. People lose minds and commit crimes but we have to see how police operate,” said Dr Manik Saha.
“No election was as peaceful as 2023 in Tripura’s history ever,” said Saha.
Tripura Lok Sabha election will be held on April 19 and April 26.
