AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has started massive poll campaigning in Agartala’s Bamutia area on Monday by visiting house to house, attending joining programs and handing over party flags to newly joined party members. A “holi” festival was also organized on the occasion to mark the beginning of massive campaigning. Under Tripura BJP’s rule, this is first time that BJP is relying upon the state CM as the star campaigner instead of inviting political leaders from Centre or other states. Addressing the gathering in Bamutia, CM Dr Manik Saha has called for record numbers of voting in both constituencies.
