AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday initiated the poll-related works for Tripura Lok Sabha poll in Ambassa for the east constituency candidate Kriti Singh ending the controversy that BJP is reeling under crisis due to the nomination of Kriti Singh as BJP’s candidate. Minister Bikash Debbarma was also present in Ambassa town hall, who was suspected by media for being against Kriti Singh. The meeting was organized at Ambassa Town Hall, attended by thousands of supporters inside and outside the auditorium. Addressing the BJP supporters, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said, they have to work for Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is developing the nation and dedicated his life for the nation building.
CM said, “Please give two hours in the morning and evening for the party. I request you to give morning 8 am to 10 am and evening 6 pm to 8 pm for the party.”
Tripura has two constituencies for the Lok Sabha election. BJP has declared former CM Biplab Deb as West Tripura constituency candidate and Tipra Motha party's supremo Pradyot Manikya's sister Kriti Singh as East Tripura constituency candidate.
