CHURAIBARI, March 16 (TIWN): Drugs worth Rs. 6 crores were seized by Assam-Churaibari police on Saturday.
Over Rs. 64 crores of escalf were recovered by police.
The drugs were smuggled from Uttar Pradesh to Agartala when this huge quantity of drugs was seized by police.
The watchpost in charge Pranab Mili along with other police officials raided the vehicle bearing number PB13BD-5534 and seized the drugs. Rabi Sharma (23) was arrested during the raid. He is a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
