AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Stating Tripura has undergone massive developments from 2018 to 2024, BJP has appealed the voters to cast votes for the party at a record number. After the election result dates were declared, BJP held a rally, appealing common men to cast votes for the BJP. Tripura BJP has declared former CM Biplab Deb as the West Tripura constituency candidate and Kriti Singh is the West Tripura constituency candidate.
Tripura Lok Sabha polls will be held on April 19 for West Tripura and April 26 in East Tripura in the first and second phase of the elections. Tripura Ramnagar bypoll also will be held on April 19.
The 7-phase election in India for much much-awaited Lok Sabha Poll will kick off on April 19. According to the ECI press release, Polling will be held on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1, informed Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. CEC Rajeev Kumar said there are 97 crore registered voters, 10.5 lakhs polling stations, 1.5 crores polling officials and security staff, 55 lakhs EVMs, 4 lakhs vehicles. He added that there are 1.82 crore first-time voters in the electoral rolls and highlighted the importance of youth in the growth and development of the country.
