AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha rushed to GB hospital after BJP MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury met with a serious accident on his way to Agartala from Teliamura. Pramod Reang an MLA from Kalyanpur, was in the vehicle with his security. Losing control, the high-speed car hit another vehicle. Initially, the injured persons including the MLA were taken to GB Hospital. CM Dr. Manik Saha met injured persons in GB.

Talking to the media, CM said, he was relieved to see that even though the accident was serious the injuries were not that much which was expected. However, whether any internal deep injuries are there, has to be confirmed.

CM said, all the injured persons will be given the best treatment and whatever is necessary for the recovery, all steps will be taken.

“Pinaki Das Chowdhury is a very popular person in Kalyanpur. Everybody knows him. I pray for his speedy recovery,” said CM.
