AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): An extreme displeasure erupted among a patient party after a newborn baby died. It is not clear whether the baby was born dead or died after delivery. The family of pregnant woman Surashri Sarkar accused India Gandhi Memorial (IGM) hospital nurses, and doctors of negligence. The family members were reportedly appealing for seizure delivery but the medical team was not interested. At last, after seeing the dead baby, anger erupted among the family members. According to the details of the incident, Sursree Sarkar Saha, a pregnant housewife in the Malay Nagar Saha Para area, was admitted to Agartala IGM Hospital last night.

After the delivery of the housewife this morning, first of all, the doctor said that both the baby and the mother are healthy. But after a while, he allegedly said that the child died.

Due to this, intense tension spread in the hospital premises. The family members also accused the nurses of misbehaving with them since Day-1.
