AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited the first Balaji temple in Tripura in Unokoti District’s Fatikroy’s Pechardahar village. The temple was built by Karnataka-based Sri Sarada Pitham Trust. Minister Sudhangshu Das and Minister Tinku Roy were also present on the occasion. The temple was created with South Indian architectural style.
CM said, “This religious place will create a history uplift the people spiritually, and also boost the tourism industry.”
CM also thanked the Sri Sarada Pitham Trust for taking the initiative to build such a temple in Tripura’s remote area.
A large number of devotees were seen at the inauguration ceremony.
