AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): ‘Newspapers write about only negative sides of the hospitals’, alleged Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while addressing a program organized by the Indian Medical Association, Tripura Branch at Muktadhara Auditorium.
“Only 1% of negative news is published about health infrastructure, but 99% of cases where patients are surviving, are not highlighted,” said Dr. Manik Saha.
Without a Doctors’ signature, a birth certificate can not be made and without Doctors’ signature, one dead body can not be taken to the graveyard,” said Saha.
“Doctors are humans. No Doctor would want the patients should die. However, exceptions are there and actions should be taken against such Doctors. But whenever a patient dies, attacking Doctors is unacceptable,” said Dr. Manik Saha.
