AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha who recently launched Jana Arogya Jojona to benefit everyone who left out of Ayushman Bharat scheme for Rs. 5 lakhs annual health coverage, said, it has given him a major relief.
“Earlier many families were covered by PM Modi’s Ayushman Bharat scheme and now left out 4.15 lakhs people are covered by Jana Arogya Yojana,” said CM.
“90% of the people who came to meet me, came with health issues and financial crisis to continue costly treatment. Then the decision was taken to launch a parallel scheme for health packages like Ayushman Bharat. It has given me a major relief,” said CM Dr. Manik Saha, while addressing a program organized by Indian Medical Association, Tripura Branch at Muktadhara Auditorium.
