The rituals started from yesterday night and today whole day devotees’ rushes were seen in Shiva temples across the state.

The devotees after puja also sought blessing from Lord Shiva and shared their wishes with God.

Shiva Chaturdashi is considered a very auspicious day for the Hindus. Lord Shiva is bathed with milk and flowers which is a part of the ritual of the festival.

Centering Shiva Chaturdashi, small-scale businessmen set up their shops before the temples. Food stalls are very popular during Shiva Chaturdashi fairs.

The festival was observed across the state and all Shiva, Kali temples witnessed huge rushes.
