SABROOM, March 9 (TIWN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated Rs. 8539.02 crore’s developmental project for Tripura through a video conference from Assam. Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and other cabinet ministers were present during the virtual meeting from Sabroom. This project has been dedicated to various projects including the Sabroom land port inauguration. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said, “This project will help to boost the Northeast and Bangladesh tourism and trade.
“Today, under PM Modi a new chapter has been opened for the Vikashita Bharat. Tripura will be developed massively due to the developmental step taken by Govt of India under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership,” said CM Manik Saha.
“It is a historical day. I am extremely pleased to witness such a moment that would lead Tripura to massive progress in the coming days. South Tripura’s this project will shape the economy and tourism both,” CM said.
