AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday addressed the state through a video medium, on the occasion of 1-year completion of the BJP-led state govt’s second term. Dr. Manik Saha said, “Our Govt is working to keep a target of the benefits of four criteria’s people that includes – Youth, Poor, Women, and Farmers. I congratulate all BJP leaders and my party’s kariakartas on this occasion. Just 1 year back, our govt started its journey with Prime Minister Modi’s developmental mantra. Our govt has worked keeping in mind PM Modi’s developmental guarantee. By this time, health, education, and other sections have witnessed a massive development.”
“Govt has tried to reach out and benefit each and every person of this society. To benefit the people with Govt scheme we implemented the Bikashita Bharat and Prati-Ghore-Sushashan mission,” said CM Dr. Manik Saha.
“39,410 have been added under the CM social pension scheme. Tripura Institution for Transformation has been established to bring transparency within the government. We have launched CM Jana Arogya Yojana to benefit 5 lakhs of free treatment to the people,” CM added.
“Our Govt tries to solve the problems. We are working to develop the roadways, water accessibility, and power connectivity across the state,” said CM.
CM further mentioned, how through the tripartite deal the tribal population has been assured to benefit fully.
Dr. Manik Saha also said, the international trade has been developed through the improvement of the connectivity with Bangladesh.
“Tripura soon to become the gateway of South-East Asia. I thank Prime Minister Modi for each step he took for Tripura’s development,” CM said.
“Keeping the Govt employees in mind, our govt has implemented 7th pay scale and then 3% DA was given during Covid time. In last 22 months, more 22% DA was given. This is exceptional and without Modi Govt’s blessing it was never possible. We believe Tripura will gift both seats to PM Modi in this Lok Sabha election,” said CM.
