AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): Tripura Govt employees federation has demanded clearance of 25% DA immediately after they compared Tripura Govt employees' DA with the central govt employees' DA.
“DA is Govt employees’ right. Tripura Govt has declared 5% DA but central govt has declared 4% DA. As a result, now the difference between central and state employees is 50% and in Tripura, the employees are already deprived of their 25% DA,” said the Federation.
The employees federation further said, the employees with a minimum basic of Rs. 16,000 are deprived of Rs. 4,000 whereas employees who are highest paid like 2,14.900 are deprived of Rs. 53,725 due to the DA difference,” federation stated.
The statement came after Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha in the Assembly budget session declared 5% DA hike for Govt employees and pensioners.
