AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): CPI-M party’s tribal wing Gana Mukti Parishad has lambasted the Tipra Motha party after its alliance decision with BJP. Today, two top Tipra Motha MLAs including the opposition leader Animesh Debbarma took oath as the Minister of the opposition. Reacting to the joining of Tipra Motha in the ruling Govt, CPI-M said, Tipra Motha has cheated the people. The CPI-M also accused the Tipra Motha of staging drama recently in the name of a hunger strike at Hathai Kathar and all was done to get the posts. “Tipra Motha party was born after the Madhav Bari incident and centering CAB protest. But today, they have cheated the people,” said CPI-M leader Naresh Jamatia.
On Thursday, two MLAs Animesh Debbarma and Brishketu Debbarma took oath as Ministers. Governor Indrajit Sena Nallu administered the oath to the newly joined cabinet ministers.
Tipra Motha party recently signed an agreement with Govt of India and Govt of Tripura about the development of the ADC and Tribal community.
