AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): Addressing the occasion of the Nari Shakti Bandhan virtual program where Prime Minister Modi’s speech was live telecasted from West Bengal, CM Dr Manik Saha said, that when PM Modi is ruling the nation, there is nothing to worry. “We need to make the BJP party candidate to win the 2024 Lok Sabha poll with three times more votes than 2019 voting records. We have two seats in Tripura for Lok Sabha poll and this time, we not only have to win both seats but with massive margins, to strengthen the hands of Modi ji,” said CM.
BJP has declared former CM Biplab Deb’s name as the West Tripura Lok Sabha candidate. The East Tripura candidate’s name has not yet been published.
Talking ahead of the Women’s Day celebration, about Modi Govt’s steps to empowering women, CM Dr. Manik Saha pointed out how 33% of reservation steps have been taken both in Tripura and as well as in the parliament.
CM said PM Modi means “guarantee” and the way, he keeps the promises, it’s praiseworthy.
“PM Modi had left the home in childhood, just like Swami Vivekananda went out of home in search of God. Today, India is in the right person’s hand,” said CM Manik Saha.
