AGARTALA, Feb 29 (TIWN): Bangladesh citizen named Mohammad Abdul Karim has been arrested with fake certificates in Dharmanagar. With Mohammod Abdhul Karim, Santu Orang and Pintu Orang were also arrested by police after BSF 139 Battalion jawan caught them after chasing them for a long. BSF Officer Binoy Kumar of the 139 Battalion said that BSF regularly inspects the border areas and continues to drive against illegal intrusion. In such a move, the three suspected persons came under BSF’s rudder. When BSF officials tried to reach them out, they escaped. Then BSF chased them and arrested all of them. Abdul Karim received a fake Adhar card, driving license and all other fake documents from Bengaluru in exchange for Rs. 40,000.
The arrested Bangladesh civilian said, he first came to India in 2019 and whenever he comes to India, he takes help from them. He said, in last 5 years, he visited Bangladesh three times. He was working in various construction sites with the help of fake documents.
