AGARTALA / UDAIPUR, Feb 21 (TIWN): Amid the rising complaints about teachers' crisis in Tripura Govt schools, teachers were seen using a sound box system to teach the whole school due to Teachers' shortage at Ulu Para J.B. School in Kachigang Village, Killa Udaipur. Protesting against the teacher’s activity, today CPI-M’s student wing TSU placed a deputation to the inspector of school in Udaipur.
The TSU has demanded to increase numbers of teachers in the school.
TSU leader Sujit Tripura said, when they visited the school, no teacher was available there even though school should not be closed before 1 pm.
The action was taken by TSU after media outlets published a video of the school where the teacher was teaching the students by using sound system.
In a viral video it was seen that when the teacher was using the sound box, for the entire school, the maximum students were outside playing, unable to concentrate. Based on local people’s complaints, media groups reached the school and discovered the pathetic condition.
