AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN): Tripura BMS held a massive protest in Agartala seeking the President’s rule in West Bengal in an action against increasing crimes in the state. A protest rally was organized in Agartala by BMS participated by hundreds of people. A BMS leader Biplab Kar said, “India worships motherhood and the mother is now abused. We demand the death penalty for the culprits who have insulted motherhood. India Govt must impose President’s rule in West Bengal to bring the law and order in control.” “Standing in 2024 such crimes can not be tolerated. Women are kidnapped, raped by Trinamool leaders. Such activities are unseen in this era,” said another BMS leader.
“The Bengal police were unable to catch Shajahan Shekh. Society must come forward to save the victims. We appeal to the President of India to impose the President’s role in West Bengal,” he added.
