AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): Amid people are struggling with basic rights like water, education, electricity, the Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath claimed that under BJP Govt massive developments took place in villages.
Reacting to journalists’ queries over drinking water issues, Minister Ratan Lal Nath said, “In villages developments are more in comparison to towns in Tripura.”
“We do not claim that all problems have been solved but if we look at the water crisis issue, earlier the water was covered only 3% and our Govt has done 71%”, Nath claimed.
"We increased MGNREGA wages from Rs.177 to Rs. 226 in 6 years", he added.
“BJP Govt added 362 KM National Highway increasing it up to 461 km National Highway. It was earlier 99 KM. More 517 KM is on plan. Now it’s talk about villages 547 KM road completed and 544 KM to be sanctioned”, Nath told media.
