AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): Tripura State Rifles bus and Bolero pick-up collided head-on with three passengers of the Bolero vehicle injured.
The incident took place on Tuesday morning in the area adjacent to the Baramura Echo park on the Assam Agartala National Highway.
The TSR 7 army bus bearing TR03-1084 collided with a Bolero pickup truck bearing TR02-G-1902 heading towards Agartala from Teliamura in the area adjacent to Baramura Ecopark on the Assam Agartala National Highway.
A total of three people, including the driver, sustained minor injuries.
The injured persons are : Suraj Rudrapal (driver) 22; Monir Uddin 33; and Swapan Roy 52.
After witnessing the incident, TSR jawans and common people informed the Teliamura Fire Department personnel who reached the spot and rescued the injured persons and brought them to the Teliamura Divisional Hospital. After being brought there, the doctor on duty started treating the injured persons.
