Locals saw the matter and immediately rescued the traffic worker in a bloody condition and brought him to GB Hospital for treatment.

He is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital with serious injuries.

Police said that after the accident, the driver fled from the spot with the car.  Later, with the help of Lefunga police station, the car was detained and the driver were arrested.
