AGARTALA, May 16 (TIWN): A workshop was held at Muktdhara Auditorium on Tuesday to reduce the use of single-use plastics.
The workshop was organized by Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan under the management of Tripura State Pollution Control Board.
State Finance Minister Pranajit Singh Roy inaugurated the workshop. Tripura State Pollution Control Board Chairman KS Sethi, MBB University Registrar Dr. Sumanta Chakraborty, Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan teacher in-charge Varnali Majumder, Tripura State Pollution Control Board Member Secretary Dr. Bishu Karmakar and others were present in the workshop.
Speaking at the event, the state's Finance Minister Pranajit Singh Roy said that pollution is making human life critical. But despite knowing this, we are avoiding proper steps to control pollution. He urged everyone to come forward to control environmental pollution.
