The incident took place in GB hospital, and the family is from Kailashahar.

Reportedly, the family of the patient Junayed Hossain took him to a private doctor named Tapas Ghosh, but the doctor advised them to go to GB Hospital.

In GB Hospital, it was told by the Doctor that after 72 hours a treatment will be done but after 72 hours, the family was asked to take their son back home with the same medicine which were prescribed by the doctor.

This incident has generated tension among the patient party and they sought a proper explanation of the matter.

“I thought our present CM who is a Doctor will develop the health infrastructure but this is the reality. We are forced to return without any hope”, the father of the patient Harul Uddin said.
