AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): Auspicious Eid, breaking the fasting ritual of Ramadan has started as India has seen the crescent moon. On the occassion of Eid, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished ‘Eid Mubarak’ to everyone. “Greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. May the spirit of harmony and compassion be furthered in our society. I also pray for everyone’s wonderful health and well-being. Eid Mubarak,"PM tweeted on Saturday.
After Eid declaration, people of the Muslim community have prayed to Allah and then extended love with each other by Eid-Mubarak hugs.
Soon after offering namaz, people extended their Eid wishes by embracing each other at Jama Masjid on Saturday. Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated with huge joy and fervour across the world.
