AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): Newly appointed as Agriculture Minister, Tripura Minister Ratan Lal Nath said on Wednesday that Govt is working to modernize the Agriculture areas.

Talking to media, Minister Nath said, “We have already Drones in all eight districts which can be used to spray pesticides on field. We have special pilots also for them”.

“A major portion of the state’s income is from the Agricultural field. We have to strengthen the field and make sure that farmers are benefited by all modern facilities and they can learn about various new things”, said Nath.

The statement came from Nath after conducting a meeting with Agriculture Dept officials at Muktadhara auditorium.
