AGARTALA, April 4 (TIWN): Rural and deep ADC areas’ people have to struggle for water every day and water from rocky hills is the only source of water. In the remote Twikal Para area under Mungiakami R.D block of 29 Krishnapur Assembly villagers were seen collecting hill’s water as Govt yet has failed to provide water supply in the area.

More than 30 Reang families live in this remote Twikal Para area. These families face various problems in daily life livelihood due to the severe water crisis.

At one time Mungiakami R.D block administration used to send water to Twikal Para area daily by vehicle, but now it is also stopped.

Every household depends on this unsanitary water for everything from cooking water to bathing water. Also the villagers have to walk a lot everyday due to the water crisis.
