AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): BJP supporter’s car was vandalized and burnt. The incident occurred in the Dhalbil area under Khowai PS.

According to details of the incident, miscreants of opposition parties entered Satyanda Kar's house on Thursday night and set fire in his Vehicle. Seeing the fire, Satyendra and his family members woke up and started screaming, hearing the screams, the neighbors came running and tried to put out the fire. The fire was brought under control after the joint effort by all.

It has been reported that the owner of the said car is Moti Narayan Deb. It is reported that Sattyanda Kar has been driving Moti Deb's car to support his family.

Satyendra Kar is a staunch BJP supporter, reportedly and no attack had been done in his house after the election and counting of votes. But last night's incident made him broken mentally.

After the incident, the local leaders of the ruling party rushed to his house and after witnessing the incident, the local leaders of the ruling party assured him that strict action would be taken against the miscreants.
