AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Three injured critically after a head-on-collision among a lorry and a bike. The incident took place on Sunday evening in Khamting Bari area in Baramura Hills under Teliamura PS. The injured were rescued and taken to Teliamura sub-district hospital.

According to the details, a fatal vehicle accident took place in a head-on collision among a bike and a lorry on the Assam-Agartala National Highway in Khamting Bari area under Teliamura PS. Pratap Debbarma and Suparna Debbarma and the driver of the bike Zahirul Islam were injured in this accident.

The people of the area rushed after hearing loud sound of the accident and after witnessing this incident immediately informed the Teliamura fire department personnel. The workers of the fire department immediately rushed to the accident site after receiving the accident information and rescued the injured and brought them to the Teliyamura Sub-Divisional Hospital.

The injured are currently being treated in the emergency department of Teliamura Hospital.
